Ata Chokhachian
Founder, ClimatFlux
Ata Chokhachian is a research scientist and educator specializing in urban climate studies. As co-founder of Climateflux and a postdoctoral researcher at MIT, he develops computational methods and sensing tools that capture microscale environmental conditions and inform climate-responsive urban design. Ata works closely with cities to advance heat mitigation and heat action planning. He has contributed to projects across Europe, North America, and the Global South, applying microclimate modeling and field measurements to support equitable, resilient urban transformation.
