Stefan Aerni
Head of Quality & Sustainability, The Dolder Grand, Dolder Hotel AG
Stefan Aerni is a hospitality and sustainability professional based in Zürich. Currently serving as Head of Quality & Sustainability at Dolder Hotel AG, he is spearheading the hotel’s environmental strategy since 2018. In parallel, Stefan is engaged in advancing sustainability across the Swiss hospitality sector. Since January 2024 he has been a board member of Responsible Hotels of Switzerland, and was elected President in March 2025. He also headed the Quality & Sustainability Circle for Swiss Deluxe Hotels (March 2023–Nov 2025). He holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Sustainable Management from HSLU (2022–23), a Business Process Manager qualification from SQS/IQNet (2019–20), and a MAS in Hotel & Tourism Management from HTW Chur (2013–15), alongside his Dipl. Hôtelier/Restaurateur from SHL (2000–05).
